This video for the Humble GameMaker Bundle was a fun one to put together as the bundle included a mixture of games made with GameMaker, and YoYo Games’ own product, GameMaker: Studio.

It was quite tricky to communicate as there were multiple tiers with similar products between each tier.
i.e. you could get a game in one-tier, but then also get it’s source code in the tier above

Having multiple products at different price tiers that could change at any time throughout the project meant I had to take a modular approach to stay flexible but also stay consistent throughout.

Showing GameMaker: Studio Professional meant creating some box art as we didn’t want to confuse viewers with the screenshots of source code in the IDE

Some games had the game and the source code in the same tier, whereas some were trickier and had them on separate tiers

Creating boxart for the separate GameMaker products helped us avoid showing the IDE too much
